Mouse traps spotted in the lower levels of Heights. These small rodents are known for their large ears and eyes, and are one of the most common mammals in North America.
This invasive species from East Asia is known for the distinctive odor it releases when threatened or crushed. They often seek shelter indoors during fall and winter months.
Despite their intimidating appearance, these bugs are harmless to humans. They feed on conifer seeds and often enter buildings in fall to find warm overwintering sites.
